Clan Sponsored Server Types and Basic Requirements

Authorized Clan Servers (ACS)
[#username], in order for your server to be to be considered as an Authorized Clan Server, it must follow the Basic Clan Sponsored Server Requirements as well as all of the Authorized Clan Server Requirements.

Clan Member Sponsored Servers (CMSS)
In order to be considered as a Clan Member Sponsored Server, your server must follow the Basic Clan Sponsored Server Requirements as well as all of the Clan Member Sponsored Server Requirements.

Basic Clan Sponsored Server Requirements
The following details must be provided for your Clan Sponsored Server listing and must be kept up to date.

• Server Name
  
• Server Operator's Name
  
• Server IP address (if fixed address, if not fixed specify such.)
  
• Indicate whether it is a fixed map server or a rotational server. (if rotational, provide the rotation list in order)
  
• Supported maps and variants if you wish your RCon holders to have this information.
  
• A listing of any special modifications to the map should you desire to disclose such information.
  
• Any special instructions to RCon holder such as whether they may change or force rotate the maps, etc.

Authorized Clan Servers (ACS) Requirements

Server Operator
The server operator must be a Clan Member who is an authorized RCon holder.

Name
The name must be structured in the following fashion:

Snipers Dream Team Mod# [SS}]* (Where # is the mod number and * is the server number, must include two spaces between "Team" and "Mod".

The Snipers DTM Spartan Snipers Academy server is a special purpose ACS used for training future RCon holders. As such it does not follow the naming convention above required for other ACSs.

RCon passwords
The RCon password for your server must be the standard one provided by our clan leadership for distribution to all authorized clan RCon holders. If you do not wish the RCon for your server to be provided to all authorized clan RCon holders, then you must not name your server in the same fashion as ACSs and make it a Clan Member Sponsored Server.

If you believe that the RCon password on your server may have been compromised, you should change it to a different password immediately and post the password in the Low Rank Administrator's board specifying which servers this password is valid for. After receiving this report, a Monitor or Clan Leader will either accept the password you chose as the new one for all ACSs or will make a post with the new password to be used for all ACSs. This clan officer should then PM or otherwise contact the other ACS server operators instructing them to change the RCon password.

How to Get Your Server Accepted As An ACS
If you want your server to be approved as an ACS then follow the Instructions For Listing Your Server on Our Clan Site, ensure that the server specifications that you provide follow all of the requirements for an ACS.

Additional Authorized Clan Server Operator Privileges
In addition to operating your own server, ACS Server Operators gain the following additional privileges:

• Receive moderator privileges on the Clan Sponsored Servers board and will be able to update your own server's detail listing.
  
• Will also be able to assist the Clan Member Sponsored Server Operators in updating their server's detail listings.
  
• Your server will be provided a www.game-monitor.com monitor information center listing at the bottom of the main page of our clan forum

Clan Member Sponsored Servers (CMSS) Requirements

[#username], in order for your server to be considered as a Clan Member Sponsored Server endorsed by this clan, your server must meet the following requirements.

Server Operator
The server operator must be a Clan Member.

Name
The name must be structured in any fashion you wish but may not use any abusive or offensive language.

RCon passwords
The RCon password for your server may be anthing that you desire it to be. You do not need to provide it to anyone else, if you choose to do so, who you choose to issue the RCon password to is completely at your discretion.

How to Get Your Server Accepted As A CMSS
If you want your server to be approved as a CMSS then follow the Instructions For Listing Your Server on Our Clan Site, ensure that the server specifications that you provide follow all of the requirements for a CMSS.

Instructions For Listing Your Server on Our Clan Site

Create a new thread in the Clan Sponsored Servers board. Follow the instructions provided for each field of the form.

If you are applying to be listed as an Authorized Clan Server put "Request ACS Approval" in the subject line. If you are applying to be listed as a Clan Member Sponsored Server put "Request CMSS Approval" in the subject line.

Where the form asks for your server name, use the complete name of your server as it will be listed in the Public Server list as the topic of your server listing post. If your server name does not display properly in the title, you may need to surround any bracket characters such as [] with [noubbc] [/noubbc] tags as appropriate.

Once you have posted the request, send a Private Message to a Clan Leader requesting approval for your server to become an ACS or CMSS.
