This was on SS3 he? I have seen the three videos. Maybe it is another bug in the mod on that position where nacho stood all the time and jumping and shooting, but did he actually killed someone from there? If its a bug than it could happen again on everyone else. I had a look again in Sparkedit on the map. Where nacho stood is a port exit from the other site of the cliff. I thought Dev Trainer for Halo CE works only in in game Halo servers and must be started from the server host. If programmers have more success like this then we might get some more incidents as this.

I have encountered situations where people are using a different map version than the one the server is running. When they enter a portal that is on their map, but not in the server, they seem to be in the place the portal goes to, but to them, they keep flashing back and forth between the two places.
Could it be something like this?

I know exactly what you mean Assocuis. Sometimes I go to SS1 but forgot to switch the map from BBT to Mod9, then, when I go into one light and don`t move I do those flashs between the places. Also when someone else is going in one I can see a short flash of them on they place where they would be if its in SS3 when I have its map in SS1. But I thought only I cansee the beaming and other only people when they have the mod map injected too.

I dont see how that would explain this Associus: If he doesnt have the mod, the tele would still work and he would see himself on the cliff, and would be able to shoot people, and be killed on said cliff. If he does have a different mod, if he tried to go through a tele that exists only on his mod, we would see him still at the entrance location to that tele, and he would be flashing back and forth on his screen. If he does have a different mod and he went through a tele on the server that doesnt show up on his mod, he would still be on the cliff, killable, and see it properly. I cannot think of a logical explanation to why neither obli or sean were not able to kill him except that he was using a new hack for halo PC. if you can prove me wrong, please, by all means, do. It would be nice if we could just talk to him, see what he was doing from his perspective, and I dont mean using the rcon holders tools available to them.

Well, i would think, if any Rcon holders find him give him your xfire then ban, but tell him a totally diffrent reason or just stright up ask if he was hacking, if you tell him a diffrent reason you could gradually work up to hacking/botting. But don't say "where you glitching" because then he will just take that and "run with it".

Yea, I have this problem because I'm using the BG map for SS1, the flashing back and forth is extremely annoying, especially because while doing this you're about as accurate as a man that's been spinning really fast for half and hour and is extremely dizzy, also the man is blind. However last night he was in SS3 when I was there. Playing from the red side I was behind the little hill and rock by the Blue standard teleport and he was behind the hill in front of blue base. I was being ever so sneaky and only a little less than half of my pistol scope with the hill and shooting at him, I took about 12 shots, and only then did he drop. From where I was standing with 8x zoom there's no reason I should've missed and yet it took 12 shots roughly. My computer was getting in the way so I couldn't take a video because when I touch scroll lock it brings up the acer green bar in the top right corner

I have played in some BG maps where the original SDTM bush teleport to the cave side of the blue base is supposed to take you up to the cliff immediately behind the blue cave. However in mods where this has been disabled or removed, the person that has the original SDTM map will still appear to teleport to the cliff. To the teleported player, they appear to be stuck in some sort of feedback loop. To everyone else, they appear to remain fixed in that location but may appear to turn and even shoot from time to time. I've shot at people in this location all day long and usually do not hit them. But even though I do not see them at the location where the teleport orignated from, I kill them every time if I shoot at that location with a cannon sniper. This is what I'm wondering may have happened.
It could even be that he has modified his own map to have that sort of teleport glitch arrangement setup where he can port from a fairly "safe" location and appear at the top of the cliff where people cannot kill him but he can shoot and occasionally hit people even though it is hard to aim.
I could try setting up a BG map with a portal like this and try it out by playing in SS3.

If you want some help testing that Associus, let me know. In my experience though if someone has a different mod, only that person can see that anything is out of place. Obli and I are about to try something in my server, see if we can replicate the events. Update: Obli and I tested his video, and it was not a possible explanation for what is going on. Here is our results:

The video in Reply #27 looks exactly like the glitching I see when I jump into the portal I referred to earlier and appear to be stuck in some sort of feedback loop. The video posted showed you coming back to what looked to be the inside of a rock.
However this is the same sort of behavior I observe when I try to go through the bush portal I referred to. I keep glitching around on top of the cliff, but if I keep trying to move out of that area, I eventually come back to my starting point and get out of the loop.

Associus, if you look at the video in replies 28 and 29, they show that that occurrence won't cause the 'glitch' seen in the original video of nachos.

The video that Church has made looks like what Nachos might have done. As far as Obli, If Nachos have done that, Then he would still not be able to see because what Obli did, He couldn't have a steady aim or move to see.
I think we need to talk to this guy in Xfire and not Halo, So there is a better chance of talking to him more when it is private and we can know when he is online or not to talk to him.
There has been many Videos of this guy and ways to figure out what way is the best. In my opinion, I think the best one would be that Nachos has made or created a Hack that can do this and no one else has.
I'll try and find him on Halo and get his xfire, If not, Then some one else can also.

The spot he was in does have an invisible wall or something that allows him to beat getting shot. He clearly was turning yellow from his shield being shot but the splash damage wasnt enough to kill him for some reason.
At the angle he was being shot at, the splash damage would kill anyone else, even with the invisible wall being there that is the edge of the map.
I know how to exploit invisible walls on IceFields where it makes it very difficult for people to kill me....he wasn't able to use that there.
I still think he's using a modded version of Halo CE Dev that someone tinkered with the source code. Its very possible, as my quote from Goemitar confirmed. For those of you who don't know who Goemitar is..... He is the man responsible for the aimbot, sightjacker, 3rd person and 1st person viewers, and flycam.

The God mode hack has been out a long time. I've encountered it from time to time for the last 3 years.
It's not a true "god" mode hack per se. What is happening is a dual location hack, exploiting a flaw in the server handling of player location. It started originally when a guy figured out how to fly in the air...like flycam...except that he could shoot and kill people from where ever he was. I remember running into him on Danger Canyon and he was zipping around at cliff level shooting people left and right.
What he's actually done is, as what I have suspected is the case for a long time now, is he has tricked the server. He is sending it a stream of data that is making him appear to be somewhere to everyone else in the server, but when bullet tracking tries to map a hit to him, it goes to a null point because he is not really there. It's an expansion of the RC hog glitch (not the one that only you see, the one EVERYONE sees)
Notice how when you shoot him he doesn't actually move? It's the location lock hack. It's like that retarded hog that you sometimes shoot and nothing happens...because the hog ain't there any more.
If you make a nuke grenade, or super weapon, and blast the map with it (kills yourself) you will likely fry him with it too, as he is probably just above your base in the air.
Don't worry too much, it's rare, and we probably won't see much of it.

I had a person by the name of A RAM explain to me the reasoning for nachos unusual actions. He told me the same things that Compdude mentioned in the last post. He said that nacho may be visible in a certain spot but he is actually in a different spot somewhere else on the map. Therefore if you shoot him he will not die because he is not actually at the spot he appears to be. He also said that it is rare but he did mention that nacho does it a lot. So I believe he should be perma-ban from all ss servers.
