Joe grew up in a small town.When he got older,he moved away to college and law school.After he finished,he thought he could show off by being the big man in the small town.
He open his new Law Office,but business was slow.One day,he saw a man coming up the sidewalk,he was thinking this would big a big impression on his new client when he arrive.So he walks in and the Joe picks up phone,motioned the man in while talking on the phone.Joe was pretending to talk on the phone,"Absolutely not! ...You tell those clowns in New York that I won't settle this case for less than a million! ... Yes. ...Okay, tell the DA that I'll be meeting with him next week about the details."
The man was waiting patiently.After 5 mins, Joe set the phone down, "I'm sorry...you see I'm a very busy man. Now...what can do for you today?"
All the man said was, "Yeah, I'm from the phone company and I came here to hook up your phone."
