I man needs to cross a bridge, but a guardian is guarding it (lol..), he says that to cross the bridge he needs to do something. He told the man that if what he says next is false then he will cut off his head, if what you say is true than I will strangle you with my bare hands. The man said one statement, the man crossed the bridge without being harmed. What did the man say?

A sorcerer claimed that she could read minds and appeared to do so on numerous occasions. On one such occasion, she said to a man to think of a number between 1 (one) - 9 (nine) (Btw I did that so Death would have no trouble in reading the numbers ). Next she said that everyone around her was to concentrate on that number, the man told everyone else the number (Except the sourcerer Death) and they all concentrated on it. She then said to double the number than multiply that number by 5, that is their new number. Then she said to divide the new number by the original number then take away 7. She finally stated that she had gotten the number from their minds, she said out aloud that the number was 3, the crowd applauded her and wondered how she got it. The question, Death, is how did she get it. (And no, it was not because she had magic or whatever, lol.)
