If I'm understanding this correctly, this is two parts. Part one, it's saying that because the cat was curious it did something it shouldn't have. And the other part is that there was something named Curiosity and it carried out the act of killing the cat.

What I did not include in my first part is that the second part of the saying is also contained within my post.
