Halogirl, that is essentially correct, however the slack would amount to only 1.6 meters. It involves the circumference, which allows you to determine the radius of the planet and also the wire. Since you know both circumferences, a simple bit of math will determine the difference in radii to be about 1.6m. And if it were 5 meters, only a giraffe would have to duck. Even the masterchief is barely 2 meters (7 feet) tall. But, with the last sentence you are fully correct. so, you get the point.

I'm sorry, I'm not on the metric system. I was thinking feet lol. I thought slack was slack regardless of circumference or straight. If I have a string thats 2 feet longer then my computer tower and my trash can, wouldn't it be the same amount of stack for both?
I don't think you seen my answer for 2) 115k/m hour
Just a rough guess. I still have the paper so if you want to go over anything let me know.

actually the other two are really hard so I'm going to just answer the third one.
3) 4.73 hours or close to it. I just picked 100 gallons for the size of the pool, for simplicity and divided that by how long it takes each facet to fill that many gallons per hour. I dropped all the numbers past the .00 for convience so the end number may be alittle different from the real answer.

The first one is he lived to be 84. Using simple algebra to show that his son lived to 42 and the math problem said that he lived twice as long as his son.
I want to add that these aren't really riddles. They are math problems. Riddles anyone can do. Only people that know algrebra and calculas can do these.

You got the point for it Wizard, and just to let you know, my fellow riddle creators have been slacking, so when they start giving me good riddles to post, I will. Until then, I was trying to find something that was slightly challenging, as most of the riddles seemed to be too easy.

Two questions:
1. The second worker gets twice as much as the first worker?
2. The combined sum of measure for workers 1 and 2 is 7 times less than the sum of workers 3, 4, and 5 right? Is that what it is saying?

for question 1, no, worker two gets what worker 1 has plus what worker three has. for question 2, yes, that is what it is saying.

Does anyone have an answer for number two yet? If no one has gotten it by the end of the day today, I am going to post new riddles, and no one gets points for it.

1) Ummm. I think it could be 1 hour? Since you may take one at 8 o'clock, and then take one 10.30, and the last one at 11? I don't know, thinking outside the box, here.
2) 9. Read it properly, haha.
3) You're the driver.
