ur doing the same thing i did, remember vel? I would take a pic and find like a pre made background and size it to the image then i just put image on top. its okay mos tof us have done that who make sigs xD

haha nice try poseidon, but i made all those backgrounds  i can even send you the photoshop file over xfire to prove it. But i did download brushes, and images. NOT CHEATING! edit: My bad-Lecraes batman background was a render, but i modified that render with Blurs and such. |

i dont think thats what hes critiquing you on.
i think hes saying all your doing is finding/making a background image and just placing the image(render) on top. your not blending the two together.
Edit: soo pose posted before me... but in any case your doing what i just said above...

oh, that makes sense...thanks Topeka. I tried looking on how to blend, but still don't completly get it. Thats why i used motion blur.....on Lecrae's. Still don't really know how to blend. I wish there was just a blend button on it lol.

i think its called smudge. (in gimp, idk if its the same in PS) or at least its a good blending tool along with others.

Another thing that might make the mustang one look better Is If you kept the same colors. The red and black back round vs the silver and blue mustang. And I bet there Is some way you could of made the text match with the grill, so like having the grill's texture stay in-front of the text but keeping the outline...uhm you get what I said? Or just have the font grayish.

and about the smaudging, its not really hard but makes a good reseult,  thats an example of me smudging my stuff like my BG is smudged and so is the render to flow into the BG |

www.sigtutorials.com/forums/index.php - Register there, and start doing tutorials, it'll help you out alot lol. They will also give you CnC (Comment and Critique) on your work and you can do the same for others.
