Sounds like a cool idea Oxide, I've never played Zombies before but would certainly give it a try. For Pred's idea about Panic, what about having a modified version of King of the Hill? The modifications being that the spot doesn't move, and after a certain amount of minutes the humans win. Another idea, just for fun, could be that the spot does move, but like in some games the humans get to a "checkpoint"(the highlighted area in King of the Hill), then defend it for a while, then they have to move to another "checkpoint". Sort of make it a progression thing. I'm sure there's alot more to it than what I simply outlined, but I'm not a modder and have no idea how complicated that might be. Just thought for Predators idea it might be a tad easier to modify King of the Hill.

dynasty hosted a zombies server and it was really fun. He had a great set of rules maps and gametypes. we even had a DC mod with new weps that we all loved. I am linking the rules list but also explore around for other ideas. I played zombies for a year or two and it was great fun. zombierules.wetpaint.com/page/Official+Rules

Got invis working. Was actually quite tricky and I can only do it (with 100% reliability and not a very large finite time) because of signed/unsigned values.. Quick overview, not that anyone cares.
In computers numbers can be signed or unsigned, unsigned can be larger but not negative, signed can be negative. Halo uses a signed value for the invis counter and it is checked to see if it is positive because processing it, if it's negative then no processing occurs and the invis counter remains unchanged. This processing jump stops "not invis" from being set and therefore using a negative timer gives infinite invis (>0x7FFF).
Also, you cannot do infinite invis via a map mod because Halo uses the time (in seconds) that is stored within the map. It's treated as a floating point value that's 4 bytes (only 2 used) and can't be negative. So, you can't make the counter negative (and therefore infinite) with a map mod.

well in panic the humans leave to get ammo, so oxide, maybe if you have a certain time limit.. like oxide see if you can do this. sorta like reach with the kill barriers
Killzone where ever. then when you go outside that killzone you have a certain time limit to get ammo like lets say 1 minute and they have a minute outside to killzone to get ammo. if you can do that i rekon that would work, therefore you wont have cheaters that go camp outside the panic area then come back in before the last person dies..

All of this (As I said before) is only if Oxide wants Zombies : Panic in his server mod. He started off only wanting to make the original Zombie mod. I can see that adding these things can be and is going to be a hassle, so maybe we should just stick to the original mod? Looks like Oxide is making some good progress with it all Congratz for getting the invis working, this should make it interesting.

I added forced team changes today when a zombie kills you. When all are zombies the game ends. If you want to try it out join "ZOMBIE TEST SERVER" when you see it in the list.
Everyone is a zombie when a new game starts and I need to add some timers to delay the start of game and fix it.
