I like to read almost anything. My favorite book series isn't really put in a series but it's a couple of Orson Scott Cards' books....or the Dark Tower. And one of my favorite books is Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky

I like to read pretty much everything. A couple of my favourite series are Pendragon and Eragon. At the moment I'm reading "The Runaway Jury" by John Grisham. I've read and enjoyed books by Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and many others. I've enjoyed some older crime stories like the Wexford series by Ruth Rendall.

I like to read anything.. This varies from adventure to sci-fi action. Although, one of my favourite books of all time would have to be 'The Rangers Apprentice'.

Dude, Drako: AWESOME! I love the Pendragon series, as well as the Inheritance Cycle.
I also read such authors as Piers Anthony, Anne McCaffrey, J.K. Rowling, etc.
My favorite Genre by far would be the SciFi-Fantasy genre. My favorite book/series from said genre would be the Harry Potter series.

I prefer Fantasy and Science Fiction. Cut my teeth as a teenager on SF and moved on to Fantasy my Senior year in HS. I've swung back to mostly SF lately. Favorite series have been many. Some of the more recent ones are:
Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan - Fantasy The RCN series by David Drake - SF Legacy of the Adenata series by John Ringo - Military SF Honorverse (Honor Harrington) series by David Weber - Military SF Empire of Man series by David Weber & John Ringo - SF Into the Looking Glass series by John Ringo - SF The Inheritance Trilogy by Ian Douglas - Military SF Spartan Snipers Clan site HTML & JavaScript code series...oh wait,.. that's not a series...it's not even a book! ;D

You could write a book out of it Associus, I am sure there is plenty of it. (I would buy it to help me learn JavaScript)
I also enjoy reading the uber-long posts that Associus makes. They are quite enlightening.

Haha, he most certainly could write a couple books. I'd buy them, one of the bonuses would be the vocabulary. I like reading for the vocabulary, just this week I learned ruminate from Associus, and manxome from Gir!.

now there is a book by associus. lol. its like an essay. and 'into the looking glass' seems familiar to me for some reason. cant put my finger on it. Would you happen to be thinking of "Through the Looking Glass" by Lewis Carroll? On another note, I saw the original manuscript for "Alice in Wonderland" when I was in England a few years ago.

I like reading for the vocabulary, just this week I learned ruminate from Associus, and manxome from Gir!. I do try to tone down the vocabulary a bit as I realize that some of our members are only in Junior High / Middle school. However, I do have to indulge a bit once in a while. ;D Another series I read and loved years ago and I highly recommend is the Deryni series by Kathryn Kurtz. I guess it is probably classed as Fantasy but it isn't the traditional fantasy of dragons, wizards, etc. Then of course I loved the Draon Riders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey (Fantasy / SciFi).

Anne McCaffrey has done some amazing works, including the Pern series, Acorna's series, Pegasus, and there are a few other ones.

I used to like Piers Anthony's Xanth series due to the prolificality of the puns, but he started getting just too silly for my taste. I finally started selling off my collection of his books this year.
