Me and death are making a game together, this is just some of the design work do you think 'zero chronicles' is a good name for a FPS and is the 2nd image a good design for the front cover? i made this one me and death made this one together

Eh, that whole effect isnt very pleasing to the eye. And it might just be me, but the blue looks bad with the other colours.
The 1st one, though, looks awsome. Exept for the splatter brush on the bottom right hand corner, idk, it just doesnt look right.
Fraggle, could you add me on xfire ( morfien05 ), I would really like to know how you made it ( 1st one ).

he had a few different images and used a few different effects, such as the splatters: he got an original image and using filters and layer type kind of thing changed it (same with text) =P may not have made it but i was there haha, as for the game cover, its our first concept so were still working on that. fragglerock wont use the forums too much except to update this thread a bit put his work out (because i told him i was on here xD)
he MAY play halo, but dont expect it lol (i also dont know if will get xfire or not)

Nice concept art, I agree with Vel but, I'm not to sure about the second one. The first is nice, however for the bottom right you should've done the same splatter effect as the other.
Anyways, which language are you programming / coding this game in?

I agree with delta, the same sharpness and depth as the top right one ( the bottom one doesnt really fit, like it hasnt got any depth/looks like its just been tacked on at the last second ).

Javascript cannot be used to make a FPS shooter game, I believe. And what program do you mean?

A word to the wise, steer clear of Unreal. my schools game production team has been using it for 6 months now and barely have a working game, the team consists of 10 programmers, 8 level designers, 13 texture artists and 4 modelers.

unity3d is very real At some point you have to decide how low level you want to get with your code, that will tell you what to use. If you want to write your own game engine use something like CPP, if you want to use a pre-existing engine, check the language it uses, a fair number are designed around C and CPP, but there are some that are not, so you have to be careful. I think unity will serve you well.
