Does anyone know anything about jailbroken ipods? I jailbroke mine with no problems using greenpois0n but then when i tried to start up Cydia, it just crashed back to my unlock screen. It does this over and over. anyone know how to fix this?

the I touch you mean? Only thing I can think of is reset and just to make sure format it completely then re sync your stuff.

I cant restore it because the update for the firmware to make it 4.2 came out yesterday and theres no jailbreaks that will support the new version yet. is there another way?

Jailbreaking is legal, timmeh. and just because I want to jailbreak my ipod does not mean i'm a cheapskate. It just means that I want to use the ipod's potential to its fullest, since there are alot of third party apps out there that apple wont acknowledge exist.

I didn't buy it, my girlfriend got a new one and she gave her old one to me. THe main reason I want to jailbreak it is that you can run android on it if you put in a certain script in cydia. But cydia is not working, hence my forum post.

I used www.jailbreakme.com but I think that doesnt work now since there is a new version out, And I use it so I can get backgrounds and multitasking really helpful. |
