OK i guess i set up a poll for you guys/gals to see which one you would prefer i did this cause it might be kinda hard to get AW together at the same time as that I'm going to mining school the 20th and asscoius is working Lot of hours and don't have much time to do much but if you do pick the 2vs2 we will figure out something.pick which ever one you want to do and i will start setting things up such as date and everything.

if its to time consuming I could run it. I'll just make the bracket and fill everyones name on it. Then post the competitors and they will post thier screen shot of the match and I will adjust the brackets. Shouldn't be hard.

I thought that we were gonna pick the names at random now,for the 2 vs. 2, to make it more interesting/fair. This is also good because you can get to know other clan members better and get to know their strategies in game. We will just have to see how many ppl want to do which one i guess. Double Elimination Tournament or 2 vs 2 :/

if this happens, we would need the okay by warrior, assoc, and/or compdude for the go ahead. I would need everyone to either pm me your desire to participate or I will make a thread so everyone can post said desire. I will then post the names of people participating and who will fight who. The biggest problem would be to find a server that does slayer. We could always convert a current server, but I won't presume to ask that. How could we do this then. Maybe find an empty slayer server and hope no one joins. We definitely can't have the combatants make a server as this will give an unfair advantage to the server operator. Another option would be, I will make the server for everyone and stay out of it completely, like a referee. I will stay at a predetermined spot and watch. And others could do it for me when its my turn to fight. Just some options. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Why don't we do it in the private server, I'm sure Warrior would be fine to change the game type to Slayer for just one game and if the rest of us want to watch then why not just watch on the cliffs. Also I'm not sure how a double elimination works can someone plz explain it to me, is it just like normal knock out tournament?

Halogirl, I am sure that if you ask politely, one of the admins would be more than happy to change one of the main servers to slayer for a clan event. Associus changed SS5 so I could train a recruit in SDTM before he tried out. All I did was ask him. Again, thank you Associus!
In any case, a server will be found, even if I have to host it from my computer.
Predator, I honestly dont know what is difference between double elimination and a normal knock out tournament is, Sorry.

I think 2 v 2 would be fun, then in the end the winners fight to see who wins. Can I have Warrior on my team ;D Just kidding, although it would be nice. I just see this being hard to organize because we all have different time schedules in different time zones, from being home the odd time while sick I've noticed a lot more people play while I'm supposed to be in school. I'm sure this goes for other people with school and/or work. I probably can't make it, but I wish all who compete good luck.

double elimination is simple. Everyone starts on the "winners bracket". When you lose you go to the "losers bracket" there you will battle other people who have lost until only one remains on both the "winners" and "losers" brackets. The champion of both brackets face off and the winner is crowned champion.
thus giving you chances to become champion.

that would be wonderful warrior. ss7 is the private server for those of you who don't already know. That way only ss could go. I don't think spectators is a good idea, because they could get killed by "accident" and the whole match would be tainted and have to be redone. That being said, I wouldn't object to a mod or high ranking offical in ss to overlook the battle to maintain fairness. Like to make sure people aren't going on cliffs and spawnkilling the game, or both people are set on camping in the same spot and no kills are being made, cause they both are waiting for the other to move. I think I might like this, but we still need some feed back on this, what would you guys like to see happen? What can some of the rules be? Let us know how this could be handled, and lets get this thing going.

Anywho, I think there should be a 2v2 between AW and any team that HOPES to eliminate them, hence on HOPES.

Guys theres no reason why we can't do both. The AW team will just take on all challengers. No tornamate needed for that one I think. Just automatically make them the champs and they will wait for someone to take it from them. (*cough cough me and someone else) sorry alittle dusty in here. anyway that will solve the poll.

we can do the 2 vs 2 right now, and it can carry on. You and Assoc will already be the champs, I don't think anyone will dissagree on that one. and if 2 people feel up for it, they will message you privately and set up a date to play. You make a thread, AW games or something and post results there. I don't think we are going to get that much support for the double elimination torney though. Not much response so far.

Na cant do AW for quite awhile as i said associus is quite busy with work and i will be working soon also so it will be delayed but however we can do the tournament just for the fact it will be Lot easier to set up.why people hasn't voted cause Lot of them our inactive or don't look at all the threads when they get on site don't worry it will come together halogirl just have to have time for people to vote.
